PEOs-based foodThere are two kinds of carbs, “good carbs” and the “bad carbs. Your body produces carbohydrates from the protein that you eat and from stored body fat and the processed is called gucogenesis. Minimizing carbohydrates that result in high levels of glucose in the blood goes a long way to patients becoming disease free, energized and lean-for-life. Instead of eating carbohydrate-based food, you have to eat PEOs-based foods and these are living foods like fruits and vegetables.

The “good carbs” do not make you fat. Do not significantly raise long-term (2-4 hours after eating) blood sugar level (glycemic carbs), and very importantly, “good carbs” satisfy your carvings for sweet. The “bad carbs” can make you fat. Do significantly raise long-term (2-4 hours after eating) blood sugar levels, and very importantly, “bad carbs” won’t satisfy your carvings for sweets.

Carbohydrates foods are mostly starchy and sugary foods like bread, candy, pizza, rice, pasta ice cream milk, potatoes and more. Vegetables are also composed of carbohydrates, although there are varying degrees of glycemic-inducing carbohydrates content. Fruits have unique carbohydrate category. In general, “good carbs” are whole, in parent form, unprocessed, fresh or frozen fruits and nutrient-dense vegetables with very low carbohydrate glycemic load. Also, fresh fruits and vegetables are loaded with PEOs that can help you become skinny and lean-for-life. Eating fresh and raw vegetables like cabbage, broccoli cauliflower, banana, lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries, blackberries, etc. is far better than eating processed foods like pasta, bread, junk foods, fried chicken and other fast foods and restaurant foods.
