PEOsOur body needs Parent Essential Oils (PEOs), but our body can’t produce such essential fats (Parent omega 6 and Parent omega 3). They must come from living foods like healthy organic plants. Our cells need them to function properly.

PEOs start out from healthy organic food. However, when the food processing is finish, the nutrients can either be converted to unhealthy transfats, or removed. Food processing can sometimes presents a problem whose dangers may be minimized by supplementation. Chemical processing and high heat could be hazardous; it may transform PEOs and other unsaturated oils into transfats.

Parent omega 6 – these fats have two or more double bonds. The 18-carbon fat that contains two double bonds is termed linoleic acid (LA). The body CANNOT make these—they MUST come from food. Parent omega 3 – the fat with three double bonds is termed alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). The body CANNOT make these, either—they also MUST come from food.

Parent omega 6 is very beneficial particularly in the cell membrane, it act as cellular “oxygen magnets.” This is just one of the many benefits of Parent omega-6. That is the main reason why patients should have increased energy with PEOs.  PEOs are the ultimate “energy drink.” The relationship between linoleic acid and sufficient cellular oxygen—Parent omega 6—is confirmed in a study published in Pediatrics.

When you hear reports that patients are “overdosed” with too much omega 6, this is not true. Our body requires a great amount of dietary Parent Omega 6 to have a good health. “Influence of omega-3 fatty acids on the prostaglandin-metabolism in healthy volunteers … synergistic effect of n-6 and n-3 fatty acids at low doses which is greater than the effect of high doses of n-3 fatty acids alone.” Prostaglandins in the Cardiovascular System, 1992.
